Mr Stainless provided Shell E&P Ireland and Mercury Engineering with expertise and chemical products for the pickling and passivating of a stainless steel vessel and 15 km stainless steel piping on the Corrib Project - Bellanaboy Gas Terminal. The company's experience in providing such services was evident, and all Mr Stainless technical recommendations and work procedures were accepted by the Project technical and materials engineers. At all times, Mr Stainless displayed an awareness of the strong focus on HSE on site, and developed custom work procedures to allow the work be carried out in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner. CLG Developments worked with Mister Stainless (Mr.Tom Petherbridge) on the Booterstown DART Station Bridge. The stainless steel and aluminium bridge had a large degree of staining due to the environmental effects of its location between a marshland and the sea. Mister Stainless specialize in the removing of contaminants (using chemicals) that build up on the stainless steel surfaces over time. In my experience, if done routinely and correctly the stainless steel will, in time 'Weather' itself and thus require less cleaning, Tom Petherbridge can advise further on this.
